Easy pawpaw bread

A simple recipe for delish pawpaw bread

Pawpaw bread

Ingredients

1 cup sugar

⅓ cup butter, softened

2 eggs

1 ½ cups pawpaw pulp

⅓ cup warm water

1 ⅓ cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon baking powder

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 F.

Coat inside of 9-inch loaf pan with cooking spray.

Beat together sugar and butter until smooth.

Beat in the eggs.

Beat in the pawpaw pulp and water until combined. About 30 seconds.

Stir in flour, baking soda, salt, and baking powder.

Pour into the prepared loaf pan.

Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. About 55 minutes, but begin checking at 50 minutes.

Allow to cool before slicing.
